Hi! I’m Tjarda, I’m 23 years old and I’m currently living in Florence for my exchange semester, which I’ll be doing until January. Back home I study Interdisciplinary Social Sciences at the University of Amsterdam. I’ve grown up with pets my entire life, including dogs, cats and gerbils. I absolutely love animals and I really miss my own golden retriever, Pip, now that I’m living abroad. That’s why I’m hoping to find some new furry friends here in Florence! I already have experience with pet sitting through this app, and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know different dogs and their personalities. Besides this, I’ve also regularly looked after the dogs and cats of neighbours, family and friends. I’m responsible, caring and always make sure that every pet feels comfortable, safe and gets plenty of attention. I’d love to go for a nice walk with a dog, play together, or simply spend some cozy time at home with a cat. I honestly don’t mind what we do — I mainly love being around animals and giving them lots of attention and love. Since I’m studying abroad and have a fairly flexible schedule, I’m often available for walks, pet sitting or simply keeping your pet company. I’d really love to meet some lovely pets and their owners here in Florence and make the most of my time here!
