Yes its true. She died 3 years ago but I still miss her. Now I am enjoying the freedom of travel, but it means having my own dog right now is not possible. Can I please borrow your fur buddy sometimes?. 

I live alone in a 55qm apartment in Neukölln and work mainly from home. I let dogs go where ever they want in my house. sleep on sofas and beds, no problem. I dont feed them scraps from the table- ever. I can do long morning walks if thats what your dog is used to or I can do long evening walks. I generally do one short morning walk 20- 30 minutes. And then a longer afternoon walk for about 60-90 minutes. At night its just a quick pee before bedtime. I dont do cafe hangouts with my dogs. When the weather is nice , its nice to hang out on the balcony on the sofa with the dog(if they like that sort of thing) I do not plan on taking on more than one dog at a time but depending on the situation i may take on two , if I know them both well. 

I am fine with old dogs, young dogs, (not puppies though) and squirrel chasers. I also have experience with very delicate stomachs and Im used to giving medication. I can handle large dogs too if they are very well trained and easy going. I work mainly from home so thats where we will be hanging out.When I do a dog sit I try to make sure it doesnt coincide with any other work appointments elsewhere. I live very close to Tempelhofer feld and Hasenheide so thats where we will be headed most of the time. Im looking forward to some nice long walks and doggy slumber parties.  

 RESTRICTIONS I prefer well trained and relaxed dogs because I find it too stressful for me to deal with nervous or fearful dogs, My house is rather noisy, so I cant take any dogs who bark at sudden noises. And I also cannot take on dogs with any kind of aggression problems , even occasionally, because Ive had some bad experiences and I just dont have the training to deal with it. 

In the winter months the fireworks in my neighborhood are particularly aggressive. So unless your dog has nerves of steel- they will not be happy here in December and January. Please consider that seriously.

 One more important detail

I work every Saturday and Wednesday for 4-6 hours. Generally leaving the house at 10.30am and coming home at 3.30pm. I can't bring the dog with me to these classes. So if your dog is okay with being alone for this amount of time then there is no problem. When I get home we can do our long afternoon walk.
