I am currently a student in Milan so my day to day programme is quite flexible. I can work early hours in the mornings, while also late at night, or even multiple walks in one day. Unfortunately, I do not know lots of Italian, so any communication would have to be done in English. I love being around pets and so I would greatly enjoy taking yours for a short or long walk, as well as pet sit!
Dog walking would include walks in the city, as well as in greener areas or even in dog parks where you dog can enjoy more freedom as well as play a few games with me. I am very patient so I am happy to deal with doffrrent personalities, including more stubborn dogs, as well as more energetic dogs. As for pet sitting I will offer your pet through comfort and company, food preparation at the specified times, and cleaning up any messes your pet may have made.
Regarding safety measures, safety is my top priority, so I always ensure secure leashing during walks and a pet-proofed environment during stays. I am also comfortable with administering any medication, basic leash training, or caring for anxious. I believe in active care, and so I focus on mental stimulation and play that suits your pet’s needs. If I’m walking your dog, we aren't just hitting the pavement—we’re exploring new scents and enjoying the outdoors. If I'm sitting for your cat, I make sure to respect their space while providing the interaction they crave.
As for experience, since I was young I owned a dog for years, and over time they have become my responsibility as I care for it, feed and take it for walks. In general, I surround myself around pets, especially dogs, very often, and so I am very comfortable doing so. I also have experience with smaller pets such as bunnies or hamsters as I have also cared for them before, including cats.
