I hope you're well. My name is Kam, I'm a Londoner, and I'm a special needs teaching assistant living in Elephant and Castle. I'm 41 and attempting a career transition; training to be a child and adolesecent psychotherapist for the NHS. I have volunteered with Lambeth Youth Justice service since 2020 as a responsible community member overseeing their work helping young people who have committed crimes to change the path they are walking and make the most of their potential.

I have looked after friends pets before and used to live in a house share in Brixton, with a cat, named Brixton (very original) and we established a tight bond. I really enjoy looking after pets and play; I find them all to be unique and interesting. I am looking to pet sit to supplement my income to be honest; teaching assistants don't get paid that well and I have the right skill set to care for pets. I can stay in your place and look after your pet, I'm also able to visit your pet in the morning and afternoon and evening for feeding and play and walks. I can remember instructions well and care for the wellbeing of animals in general. 

I live next to a few parks, Faraday Gardens and Burgess Park. 

My services are visiting your home and pet, looking after them, being respectful of your home (if you need me to water your plants, then happy to do that as well) and pet and keeping them both safe and secure. I also will take your dog for a walk and make sure they are tidy and looked after. I am new to using a platform like this, but hoping to build up a good track record - I have an enhanced DBS, take on high responsibility and trust volunteer roles and often babysit the children of my brother and cousins which I hope speaks to my ability to care and to be responsible.
