I am a German master student and moved to Rome to study Psychology. I have lived in the Netherlands and Berlin for the last 5 years and worked as a dog sitter alongside my studies. I went on long walks in parks or by the North Sea and also lived at the owners places when they were on vacation. Since I really love dogs and miss the four-legged friends, I really want to spend more time with dogs again.

Unfortunately, due to time constraints, I never owned my own dog yet, but I have a lot of experience with a wide variety of dogs through volunteer work at the animal shelter and the dog sitting. For example, in the Netherlands I spent most of my time looking after 2 dogs, one of which was a female hunting dog (Griffon). I really enjoyed looking after both of them because they loved playing with a ball in the park or jumping into the waves on the beach, but also because it was interesting to train with a hunting dog and focus on the right things. In certain parks she was able to follow her instincts and run after birds, but also be very focused and obedient during search and retrieval training.

As a student, my time is very flexible! As I already said, I really like dogs and would be incredibly happy to take care of one or two dogs and go on long walks!

I'm also starting to learn Italian, unfortunately my speaking is still rather bad but I do understand a lot and hopefully will be able to communicate in Italian only ver soon!😁
