Hello pet owners! My name is Matilde, I am 23 and I am from Italy. I have been living in the Netherlands for the past 4 years, first in Maastricht as a Bachelor's student and then in Utrecht where I completed my Master's degree in Conflict Studies and Human Rights! I will be moving to Brussels to start an internship working in an non-governative organization focused on European defense and security starting from February 2025 until May 2025 and I would love to take care of your Belgian furry pets ;) 

Throughout my entire life, I have always been used to living with cats! Back home in Italy, my first pet ever was Gina, a crazy (and not so cuddly) beautiful cat which unfortunately passed away one year ago. Nevertheless, I brought my love for cats all the way here to the Netherlands as where I lived, I was looking after the owners' cat, Norbert! And, now that I am back home in Italy, I have two very cuddly cats (mom and son) that my mum rescued at the beginning of September! I do not have any prior experience as a petsitter, however, I am sure my love for cats and dogs (and also other animals) is a great start! 

I am offering sercive only at the pet(s) owner's house as I am currently still looking for a place to stay in Brussels during my internship! 

About my services: I can play with the pets, give them food and water, and walk them when necessary. I cannot administer medication and/or training. 

For home visits (1/2 times a day): I can stay for a total of 2-3 hours with the pets during the home visits and do everything that is necessary for them (taking them on a walk, playing with them, feeding them etc.).

Overnight stay: I can also offer overnight stay for how long as it is necessary! During the overnight stay, I will also take care of all the other necessary things in the house, such as mail and plants, cleaning and others depending on the owner's wishes. This would also be a great opportunity for me to find a place to stay in Brussels while taking the best care of your animals and house! (As this is what I also did last year in Utrecht!)

Dog walking: I am offering dog walking as well! Dog walks can be as long as the pet owner's suggest it is necessary for their pets! For dog walks, I believe it is best for the pets to go and walk in green areas such as local parks! 

Nevertheless, I will always listen to the pet owner's suggestions and I will always accomodate their specific requirements!
